Preparing For Your Scan

To ensure the best possible result for your 3D Scan, please complete this checklist before our arrival. The Matterport Pro 3 captures everything in high detail - preparation is key to a premium result.

- Lights On: Turn on every light (ceiling, lamps, stove).

- Blinds & Curtains: Open all blinds fully to showcase views.

- Check Bulbs: Ensure all light bulbs are working to avoid shadows.

- Declutter: Clear surfaces of remotes, tissues, chargers, and magazines.

- Depersonalise: Hide family photos and highly personal items.

- Windows & Mirrors: Wipe them down; the Pro 3 picks up streaks.

- Fans & AC: Turn off all ceiling fans (they must be stationary).

- Clear Counters: Hide toasters, kettles, drying racks, and sponges.

- The Fridge: Remove all magnets and photos from the door.

- Bins: Hide all trash and recycling bins in a cupboard.

- Toilet Seats: Down (essential).

- Clear the Shower: Remove all shampoo bottles, soaps, and loofahs.

- Vanity: Hide toothbrushes, razors, and medications.

- Towels: Display fresh, neatly folded towels or none at all.

- The Hotel Look: Make beds with crisp, wrinkle-free linens.

- Under the Bed: Ensure no clutter is visible under the frame.

- Closets: Keep doors closed unless the interior needs scanning.

- Driveway: Move all vehicles away from the front of the house.

- Pool & Patio: Clean the pool and remove the vacuum. Arrange cushions.

- Garden: Hide garden hoses, tools, and pet toys.

- Pets: Secure pets in a kennel or take them for a walk.

- Hidden Valuables: Secure jewelry, documents, or firearms in a safe.
